《黃金劫案》劇情簡介
BBC與Paramount+合作的這部六集劇集取材于有著“世紀之罪”之稱的Brink’s-Mat搶劫案。1983年11月26日，六名帶有武器的劫匪在希思羅機場附近的Brink’s-Mat倉庫，原本策劃實施現金搶劫的他們，卻陰差陽錯發現了由莊信萬豐公司持有、多達3000公斤的金條；最后，他們掠奪了價值2600萬英鎊的黃金、鉆石和現金，并成功逃脫。
搶劫之后的大部分黃金都沒有被追回，也僅有其中兩名參與者被定罪。但這次重大的事件卻造成了各種余波：曾經的莊信萬豐銀行陷入危機最后倒閉，倫敦碼頭區房地產涌入了臟錢，也流進各種國際范圍的犯罪活動；至于“Brink-Mat的詛咒”也悄然而起，因為當初參與的人在后續的幾十年前都最終死于槍殺。
